Spondyloarthritis is a diamond open access journal. There are no submission fees or publication charges; the journal's owner covers the costs.
Articles are published as soon as they are ready rather than held for an issue. Each receives a DOI and is archived in Portico.
The Editor-in-Chief is Gizem Ayan. The editorial board brings together rheumatologists and allied specialists working across axial, peripheral, psoriatic and extra-musculoskeletal disease.
Decisions on manuscripts are made by the Editor-in-Chief and the editors. The owner, funders and advertisers have no part in them.
Authors retain copyright and articles are published under a CC BY 4.0 licence. Peer review is double-blind. Preprints are accepted, and negative and confirmatory studies are welcome.
